This could be Sicily's most famous hotel, if not its most unusual, with 15 rooms decorated over periods of several months by artists living on the premises. Examples are an all-black room by Chilean artist Raoul Ruiz, featuring a round bed and a skylight, or the tribute to black, red and triangles by Mauro Staccioli.
